Birthstone Trio – Amethyst, Citrine & Aquamarine Gemstone Watercolor
Three perky pink flowers rise on tall, slender stems above soft green grass, each one blooming with its own colorful gemstone.
Gemstones: Amethyst (1): round faceted cut, 5mm, approximately .50 carat. Citrine (1): emerald cut, 3.5mm x 5mm, approximately .40 carat. Aquamarine (1): oval cut, 3mm x 5mm, approximately .20 carat. (Every gemstone type has a different weight, which is why stones of a similar size can have different carat weights.) Amethyst is the February birthstone, aquamarine is the March birthstone, and citrine is the November birthstone.
Size & Framing: Birthstone Trio measures 4” x 4” and comes in a 5.25” x 5.25” cream frame with a worn look, a glass front, and a leg stand for display. The gemstones are not glued. They’re pressure-placed inside the frame, so they stay secure while displayed and can be easily removed later to be set in jewelry. Hand-painted, signed, and one of a kind.
