The Essence of Beth

My friend Scott saw the jewelry I create each year for Shine Prom — our incredible night for adults with special needs. It meant so much to him that he gifted me his late wife Beth’s collection of loose gemstones. Beth had a long battle with cancer, and these stones were very special to her — she handpicked every single one. Hundreds of them. Aquamarine, Tanzanite, Topaz, Sapphires, every color you can imagine. He said he finally knew what he was meant to do with them. ❤️

I knew I had to honor Beth in a way that truly mattered.

With the rising cost of silver, creating hundreds of jewelry pieces this year just isn’t realistic. So I pivoted. Beth loved painting. I love painting. And that’s when these were born — tiny original watercolor florals, each featuring a gemstone at the center. I’ve gifted a special collection to Scott and his family in honor of Beth. I have since moved on to using my own hand-picked stones, but her collection was the inspiration for it all.

I’ve created a small number to sell, and every piece purchased will help fund future projects for Shine Prom.

If one speaks to you, I’d be honored for it to live in your home. I can ship anywhere in the U.S. 💛
